The Ultimate Guide to a Family Day Out at Dream Point Experience Dublin
Looking for a family day out in Dublin that the kids will talk about for weeks? Dream Point Experience is an immersive family attraction in the heart of the Docklands — 8 interactive rooms, Ireland's biggest ball pit, and a world built to be explored together. This guide covers everything you need to plan your visit: how to get there, ticket prices, the Dream Café, facilities, and answers to the questions families ask most.
Getting to Dream Point
Dream Point is on the first floor of Point Square Shopping Centre, E Wall Rd, North Wall, Dublin 1 (D01 EOK6) — a few minutes from the city centre.
- By Luas: Take the Red Line to The Point stop, right beside Point Square.
- By bus: Several Dublin Bus routes serve the Docklands and city centre nearby.
- By car: The Point Square car park is in the same building. You pay €4.20 for the first hour, the second hour is free, and €4.20 per hour thereafter.
Once you're inside Point Square, head up to the first floor and follow the signs for Theatre of Light / Dream Point. Our team is on hand at the entrance if you need a pointer.
Ticket Pricing
Tickets start from €14.60, and you can book online in advance to secure your preferred time slot. Sessions regularly sell out at weekends, so booking ahead is the safest way to guarantee your spot.
Save 15% when you book at least 7 days in advance — a simple way to make a family day out go further. Families visiting often should also look at our membership options, which pay for themselves in just a few visits.
The Dream Café
Exploring is hungry work. The Dream Café serves a family-friendly menu with something for everyone, plus barista coffee and refreshments for the grown-ups. It's right by the soft play, so parents can relax with a coffee while the little ones play. (Outside food and drinks aren't permitted inside, but you won't go hungry.)
